Academic and Research Communication with Adam Green

On October9,2017, Prof. Adam Green from Georgetown University visited the faculty of psychologyof Southwest University,and made a scholar reports titled ‘Creativity, Within Reason: Semantic  Distance and Dynamic State Creativity in Relational Thinking and Reasoning’.

Prof. Adam Green had indepth communication in Semantic Distance and Dynamic State Creativity  with Prof. Jiang Qiu. And they also discussed some potential corporation and then reach an  agreement. Creative &Affective Neuroscience Lab in Faculty ofPsychology, Southwest University,  China and Georgetown Laboratory for Relational Cognition, Georgetown University, USA establish  a long-termcooperative relationships.

Dr. Adam Green joined the faculty at Georgetown University in the fall of 2010. Dr. Green's  motivating interest is in human creative intelligence and especially in understanding how neural  processes constitute our best ideas. Dr. Green's research focuses on creative reasoning that reveals meaningful connections between seemingly distant concepts, often in the form of analogies. He is currently President- elect of The Society for the Neuroscience of Creativity.Dr. Green received a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Dartmouth College in 2007 and completed post-doctoral  training at Yale University in 2010.
