Dr Ryota Kanai, an outstanding expert on neuroscience and perception,  paid a visit to our schoolfrom January 10th to 14th.

The University of Sussex, in which Dr. Kanai is now working, was the first of the new wave of UK universities founded in the 1960s, receiving its Royal Charter in August 1961. As it celebrated its 50th university, it had become a leading teaching and research institution.

Dr Kanai firstly gave a report titled "The structural basis of inter-individual differences in human behaviour and cognition"; then listened to reports about progresses of our team, based on which, he provided inspiring  suggestions about the research of neural mechanism of creativity, depression and vision. By the end of this communication, we came to an agreement on further cooperation about research.
